Rather than allow Police to sort the matter out, Sue Bradford, New Zealand’s premier news “whore” went to the media because she loves the attention, craves it, in fact. Had she allowed Police to do their job, the whole matter could have been sorted out fast with no muss of fuss. But she went to the media. If people didn’t have any idea about wanting to kill her, they do now, thanks to Sue wanting the attention.

Man denies sending Sue Bradford death threat

By CLIO FRANCIS – Stuff.co.nz

A seriously ill man accused of sending MP Sue Bradford death threats says his Twitter account was hacked and he never sent the MP threatening messages.

Henk van Helmond, who suffers from multiple sclerosis and a heart condition, says his life has been made “hell” since Ms Bradford told media outlets of death threats made against her on the internet.

Mr van Helmond says his Twitter account was hacked and the message had been sent to Ms Bradford without his knowledge.

The Twitter message had said Ms Bradford was a good candidate for New Zealand’s first political assassination.

“Someone got into my account and made these death threats, I know it wasn’t me. I’m a pacifist, I don’t believe in violence, I have MS and a heart condidtion, why would I make a comment like that?”

Mr van Helmond says his account was “picked on” because he hosts website CYFSwatch and is “absolutely anti her bill.”

He said he had already apologised to Mrs Bradford on the website and sent out a tweet explaining the situation.

“I apologised to her because it came from my account, even though I didn’t say it, I caused it to be said.”

Mr van Helmond said he had not been contacted by the police.

“If Sue had allowed police to do their job, this whole thing could have been sorted out straight away and the media wouldn’t have been involved.

“Sue is too keen on publicity of any kind, she’s a media hound.”

Mr van Helmond says he has no idea who would hack into his account, but has changed his passwords to prevent it happening again.

Kiwi Party leader and pro-smacking advocate Larry Baldock told Radio New Zealand this morning he did “certainly not condone” the threats Ms Bradford had received.

He said he had not received such threats himself but had been the recipient of obscene and threatening emails.

Ms Bradford said she had not spoken with police about the tweet from Mr van Helmond’s account and was unsure of further action.

You are by far the lowest and most disgusting form of life i’ve had the pleasure of coming across on the internet recently.

Perhaps you should do the right thing and drop this subject now, rather than continue to feed on the media and presence your comments have made.

Also, I’d like to know if you think you can prove your twitter account was hacked.

There are ways of knowing and being in the IT security industry I would hate to have you found out to be a liar.

It would only take an email to some of the folk at twitter HQ (who I know personally) to find out if infact your account was hacked at all.

I don’t think you’d like the press or attention you’d be getting once this lie of yours was proven.

I know you won’t publish this comment (You’re far too gutless) but perhaps you should think about this some more.

  2. And thanks to Sue Bradford, this is what I have had to suffer all day. No doubt you are from the “we love Sue” brigade. Rather than address what I said, you lay into me with insults, so you’re probably a Green Party voter!

I actually feel sorry for Sue now, if this is the same as she has been getting, then I really wish you guys would grow up. You people throwing abuse and death threats around like its a lolly scramble do nothing to make matters worse, Hell, you cannot even accept an olive branch being extended to Sue Bradford. The comments here that I am getting are nothing compared to what she has had to put up with, according to Prime News, I was disgusted to hear what some people are saying to her. Got that, DISGUSTED! Both Sue Bradford and I have, without consulting each other, declared peace, Sue has even said she would like to me “us” …. myself included even though I am an accidental casualty of her battles. I might take her up on that offer. In fact, I will.

Interesting to note that, while it is perfectly ok for Sue to say outrageous lies about most of NZ voters, she gets all upset when she is called on them or challenged in any way…

However, if she is willing to actually LISTEN to reason….

    ATTENTION omgwhat:

Gutless??? This from a “person” who hides behind a bulk mail account? (And you “know” people at Twitter???? WOW!!!!)
You are an Orcon customer and that, my friend, is a problem for you… Orcon assigns IP addresses to each customer… If we wished to complain about your attitude and involved the police to deal with your threatening and abusive comments, I am quite sure that you could be traced with great ease.

People DO get their accounts hacked on Twitter… It is a KNOWN VUNERABILITY of the site (which is one reason smart people don’t use it)

you calling me “not” smart.. I am offended. :)

Seriously, wankers who hide behind the internet is what Sue is complaining about… I do not hide, everyone knows who I am, where I am, and what I say. So, I am no coward, but I accept others like omgwhat is.

Isn’t that what Sue is on about, gutless wonders using the internet to hide and get downright nasty?

Maybe he needs to wake up to what he is saying, making matters worse, not better.
